When we brought Friday Fun Day back to School of Enrichment, we had a pretty simple goal: make Fridays really, really fun.
Think summer camp, but every Friday.
Friday Fun Day is a full day of multi-sensory, silly, creative, hands-on experiences designed around one thing: fun. Rather than following a traditional preschool curriculum, Friday Fun Day gives children the opportunity to explore, create, get messy, move their bodies, use their imaginations and simply enjoy being kids.
And because each Friday is taught through our teachers’ own zones of genius, our teachers get to lean into the things they love most, too. That means the experiences are genuine, enthusiastic and often a little unexpected.
Of course, children are learning all day long. They’re building independence, practicing social skills, developing problem-solving skills, strengthening communication, exploring sensory experiences and learning how to navigate new situations. But on Friday Fun Day, those skills happen naturally through play and participation rather than through a traditional academic lesson.
Friday Fun Day is growing!
Our first Friday Fun Day group filled up so quickly that we’re excited to add a second cohort beginning October 2.
We’re especially excited to welcome Kristine Klees, who holds a master’s degree in early childhood education, as the teacher leading our new Friday group. Kristine will bring her own creativity, energy and love of early childhood to Fridays!
With the addition of our second group, we now have a few openings for students who would like to join us on Fridays.
And Friday Fun Day can work with a variety of schedules.
Children can:
Attend School of Enrichment on Fridays only
Add Fridays to an existing half-day schedule
Add Fridays to a two- or three-day schedule
Add Friday Fun Day to an existing four-day schedule
In other words, Friday Fun Day can be a child’s entire School of Enrichment experience or simply one extra day of fun each week.
We’re excited to have room to welcome a few more Friday kids into the mix.

We can’t wait to see what happens when we make Fridays all about fun.
