Briana Stein, Masters in Art of Teaching

Briana grew up in Seattle, as the youngest of four children. Growing up Briana swam competitively for eleven years and loves the water. She has a tremendous appreciation for everything that living in Seattle taught her: the diversity and cross-cultural life, and openness to the global world that it created for her. Briana loves adventuring and the outdoors, which is what brought her to Bend. She can often be found practicing yoga around town, too.

Briana fell in love with yoga over three years ago, and it transformed her way of living. Through the transformation and positive energy that it brought her, she wanted to explore it more deeply and bring it into the classroom and schools. In the spring of 2018 Briana received her certification in Kids Yoga through Kidding Around Yoga.

Briana attended the University of Portland, and graduated with her Bachelors in English Literature and a minor in Catholic Studies. Post undergrad Briana moved back to Seattle, and quickly found her passion for working with young learners, so she went back to school receiving her Masters in Art of Teaching from the University of Southern California. Briana is a from a large family, with a long line of educators. Briana is a natural with kids and loves to lead them to learn through exploration and inquiry. Briana is a perfect fit with the School of Enrichment community.
